CPRE Awards

Dr David Peacock and Rupert Hardy 2022 CPRE Awards Dr David Peacock and Rupert Hardy 2022 CPRE Awards

At Dorset CPRE we are fortunate to have fantastic volunteers who help us with completing consultations, respond to planning applications, assist with recruitment and campaigning to name a few. To recognise the efforts of CPRE Members throughout the country CPRE National Office provide CPRE Volunteer Awards.

CPRE want to create the opportunity for many more volunteers to feel valued. So they have put together different types of Awards to recognise and celebrate the range of work done by volunteers, ranging from small contributions to a lifetime achievement award for outstanding service over many years. Depending on the type of contribution, Awards will range from a certificate to a Medal.

How will it work?
We would like our Members to nomination and Dorset CPRE will apply to national office for the type of Award required. We will present the awards at our AGM and take photos of award winners at the event. There are five different levels of Volunteer Award Contribution. Please contact us for more details.

The process:
You will be asked for: the name of the volunteer; which type of award you would like; the reasons for the award. For any 'Outstanding Contribution' and 'Lifetime Achievement' nominations, awards will be provided at national office discretion based on a value judgement of the contribution and/or length of service. CPRE anticipate receiving around 15 nominations for 'Outstanding Contribution' a year and up to 5 nominations a year for the 'Lifetime Achievement' award from across all Branches. We look forward to hearing from you!
