Planning Conference on ‘Dorset’s Affordable Housing Crisis?’ 20th June 2024
‘Dorset’s Affordable Housing Crisis?’
Online via Zoom, on Thursday 20th June, 1:30pm – 4:30pm
CPRE’s November Report on rural Affordable Housing found that the South West region was the worst affected by a lack of truly affordable housing, seeing the largest increases in rural homelessness and social housing waiting lists of any region since the start of the millennium.
To find out how this affects Dorset, and the measures being taken to address it, we invite you to attend our free online conference chaired by
Lord Richard Best, Social Housing Leader, with speakers including:
- Dr Quintin Bradley, Senior Lecturer in Planning and Housing at Leeds Beckett University
- Alison Ward, Director at Middlemarch Community Led Housing
- Paul Derrien, Housing Enabling Team Leader at Dorset Council
- Elizabeth Bundred-Woodward, Planning Policy Lead, and Brad Taylor, Rural Policy and Campaigns Officer at National CPRE
- Mike Allen, Dorset CPRE
