This year we celebrate our 80th Anniversary, the first meeting was held on April 16th 1937. We will be joined by Crispin Truman, CEO of CPRE. There will also be a reading by Edward Fox OBE, Branch President.

We are delighted that Crispin will join us on the day. The AGM will be held in the Cerne Abbas Village Hall, DT2 7GY, starting at 11 am followed by an optional buffet lunch at around 12.30 pm.

Crispin Truman joined CPRE in September. Previously he was chief executive of the Churches Conservation Trust, the UK charity protecting historic churches at risk.  The Trust owns and runs 350 heritage buildings across England attracting almost 2m visitors a year and promotes them as an educational, tourism and community resource. Crispin is a founder member of European network, Future Religious Heritage and an International Advisory Panel Member at the Foundation for Jewish Heritage.  He is a member of the UK Government’s Rural Affairs Department (DEFRA)’s Civil Society Partnership Network core group.

There will also be a reading by Edward Fox OBE, Branch President.
