100 years of CPRE in 100 seconds

Dorset CPRE, established in 1937, is part of the national CPRE network. CPRE’s centenary year is a milestone made possible by the dedication of our volunteers, members, supporters, and communities who have stood with us to protect the countryside.

From the first Green Belts to protecting and planting hedgerows, dark skies and treasured landscapes, together we’ve stood up for our countryside – and we’re just getting started.

But first, we’re reflecting on everything we’ve achieved in our first century.
