New Chair of Trustees for Dorset CPRE

Peter Neal is our New Chair of Trustees and Dr Paul Kelly was elected Vice-Chair at our Trustees Meeting held on 8th December.

The Dorset Spring Review 2016

Richard Nicholls joined CPRE 20 years ago, and as it has always been, planning matters invariably pose problems. However, today planning issues are even more difficult to resolve given it is increasingly difficult not only to contact West Dorset Planning Officers, but in that we are faced with radical changes in Local Government organisation.

CPRE Standing up for your countryside

Dorset is one of the least spoilt counties in southern England with a great diversity of geology, landscape and ecology. This is the county celebrated by Thomas Hardy with its rolling chalk downland, secluded valleys and heathland rich in wildlife, as well as its picturesque villages and towns. It also has the Jurassic Coast, England’s first National World Heritage Site.
