Letter to local BCP election candidates

Dorset CPRE has written to candidates nominated for election as a councillor for Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole Council ahead of the 4th May 2023 council elections.

There will be full local and parish council elections in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole on 4th May 2023 where all seats in 33 BCP Council wards plus 5 parish/town/village councils will be up for elections.

We have written to the majority of candidates to introduce our organisation and highlight the key actions that will positively contribute towards providing new and improved homes, key infrastructure whilst protecting the natural environment. These include protecting the Green Belt, brownfield first policy, solar on rooftops and thriving communities. We will write again to elected councillors to urge both them and their Party to support the above actions.
